Pancake Recipes With No Eggs (Vegan)
In the beginning, we will start with one interesting story of how veganism and the entire idea of not consuming anything that has an animal origin, come to the public.
The term “vegan” originates from Donald Watson in 1944. From Leicester, England, who tried to form an association of vegetarians who consumed neither milk, eggs nor dairy products? When his approach came to the fore, Watson and like-minded founders started a Vegan Society that advocated for a diet of fully vegetable origin, with support from food, clothing and footwear companies to use alternatives to animal products.
We are reminding you of the origin of veganism because it is relevant to know that idea behind this, we will say movement, have not changed.
If you are a vegan or you want to become one, one thing must always be on your mind – you must choose wisely and always be informed about what you are eating and what kind of nutrients you are having in your diet.
If you really choose nutritious quality foods like fresh fruits, vegetables, cereals and take care of your caloric intake, you can get whatever you want – to lose weight, add muscle mass, gain weight… You choose. And the vegan diet itself is not a magic wand for any of it.
Just because you are a vegan, does not necessarily mean that you will be able to lose some weight, it is possible, but not mandatory. Eating healthy is one thing, and being vegan another.
In the case of a vegan diet, people are more likely to eat less when you tell them they can eat as much as they want. Why?
Let’s go back to what vegans eat. Fiber-rich foods. And what do fibers do? They make us feel satiated much faster and longer than when we don’t eat them. They have this power to increase the volume of food and saturate our work hours. Certainly, you can practice the same when you are not vegan by eating more fiber-rich foods.
Almost all foods, except alcohol, sugar and fats, provide at least some protein. Vegan sources of protein are lentils, tofu, peas, peanut butter, soy milk, almonds, spinach, rice, bread, potatoes, broccoli, and kale.
Now, we also must say one more thing – having in mind that the vegan diet does not exclude sweets; they are necessary if you want to get your energy levels up, and in this sense, you need something sweet, but that does not jeopardize your vegan diet.
Can I have pancakes when I am on a vegan diet?
Vegan foods are low in fat, reducing bad blood cholesterol levels, reducing blood pressure and reducing the risk of heart disease. If you are prone to this type of illness, then switching to a vegan diet is good for you. Advantages of a vegan diet are even more beautiful and healthy skin, as well as the absence of unpleasant body odors.
Of course, you can, this is one of the best ways of eating them, they will become a staple in your home because they are so easy to make, and there is an infinite number of versions how you can make them. It seems that everyone has their own version of this dish, and mostly they are delicious.
It could be the most favorite breakfast of all – pancakes! They are known around the world, and most of the countries have their own version of such dish – they could be sweet or savory, and this is their best trait. They could be vegan or gluten-free, they could be eaten plain or with some topping, like fruits, jam, marmalade, chocolate, etc…
Many people eat it as a snack.
Depending on the ingredients you use, they could be made out of anything really, and the main ingredients that are found in the regular pancakes and not in vegan, of course, are eggs, but we will teach you how to make them without the eggs, and not lose structure and taste.
We are giving you two sweet and one savory recipe.
Is it possible to have great pancakes with no eggs?
For decades, it has been said that the egg is not recommended because of its high cholesterol content, which some studies have linked to heart disease. One yolk contains 185 milligrams of cholesterol, which is more than half of the 300 milligrams, daily recommended amount.
But it is not so much of the cholesterol levels, and vegans do not eat eggs because they do not want to anything animal, and they need to find something that will substitute them.

Here we will present to you one very known and amazing, easy, tasty recipe for pancakes that you can make if you are on a vegan diet, and you do not want to ruin it from whatever reason.
Very healthy and delicious vegan pancakes. Starting the day with a good and balanced breakfast is a reward for your body. Oats contain magnesium which reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes. Bananas are rich in fiber and potassium. Potassium lowers blood pressure and is great for cardiovascular health. It is also believed to reduce cramps in athletes. Great combination, right?
Now, the ingredients can be found in any store that is close to you, and it is very likely that you have some of them in your home, if not all.
Ingredients:
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup of organic unsweetened soy milk
1/3 cup integral flour
One teaspoon of baking soda
One smaller pinch of salt
One medium banana
coconut oil
Two tablespoons chia seeds
Preparation:
Pour all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix with the mixer. It is best to use a non-stick frying pan, or if you do not have one, coat your regular frying pan with a little oil. Bake over medium heat. Use a smaller bowl when pouring pancake batter into a pan, which will use to make all pancakes the same size. Since these are American pancakes, they should be at most smaller than our domestic pancakes, about 20 to 25 cm in diameter. Serve them immediately. Sprinkle fresh fruit if desired. Enjoy!

If you are a big gourmet, this is already promising. Interestingly, these pancakes have almost no sugar! However, the taste will absolutely delight you.
The ingredients that you will need for this recipe are:
One ripe banana
A cup of soy milk or water
1/2 baking powder
A teaspoon of cinnamon
250 g of integral flour (or until the density is like thick yoghurt)
A cup of sour water
A spoonful of coconut oil
Put the banana, soy milk or water and cinnamon into a blender and blend until smooth. Then transfer to a deeper bowl and add the flour and baking powder. Mix it all well, and then add the salty water until the mixture is a little thicker than the yoghurt. Be sure to add a large tablespoon of coconut oil!
When baking, make sure the bubbles burst from the top of the pancake, and then flip it over, and in about 30 seconds it is done. You will be surprised how these pancakes “look” just like the regular ones, but they are much more healthy and of course, do not have anything that comes from the animal origin.
Whisk together the whipped strawberries (in a chopper or a stronger blender that can make an incorporated mixture out of them, or you can use any other fruit of your choice) between the pancakes and pour over the melted black chocolate from above (a vegan kind). Black chocolate is best melted with steam, with the addition of coconut oil.
This sweet paradise will be a real treat, and any bite will be worth the effort! What a total of 20 minutes of work!
